HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
There was a record attendance of members of the general committee meeting of the Wellington Horticultural Society on Thursday last to receive the report of a record spring show, both in entries and takings. Mr. Fox voiced tlie general satisfaction of the committee at the excellent, result and paid tributes to all concerned and to the affiliated suburban societies for their assistance. Special mention was made of the stands for exhibition only displayed by Mrs. J. J. Reich. Mr. B. Sutherland, and the Pioneer Club, and also of Mr. 11. S. Hislop’s window display.
