Visit to Distressed Areas

Official wireless Rugby, September 3. The Minister of Health, Sir Hilton Young, has arranged to spend three weeks in certain distressed areas to inform himself by direct personal contact of the situation and the measures taken and in contemplation by local authorities for dealing with unemployed. He will visit the Lancashire, Tyneside, and South Wales areas in which unemployment has been severe and prolonged.
