Fine But Windy in Wellington The 1 weather in Wellington yesterday was fine but overcast. A strong north wind was blowing. A light westerly wind and fine weather prevailed at Auckland, but a cloudy sky made the conditions cold. Though fine, the day in Christchurch was marred by a squally north-west wind. The thermometer registered 63 degrees. The weather at Dunedin was unsettled. Overcast- conditions in the moruing were followed by light warm showers after mid-day, but 'the sky cleared late in the afternoon, and the sun made an appearance.
