Work on Headrace Lining SATISFACTORY PROGRESS By Telegraph—Press, Association. Hamilton, September 5. The repairing of the damaged lining in the headrace at Arapuni hydro-elec-tric works is proceeding satisfactorily. It is anticipated that the work will be completed on Wednesday. Recent detailed observations have shown that the source of leakage was at the damaged lining. It is confidently anticipated that the remedial measure, which is nearing completion, will have the effect of preventing further leakage.
