Jews’ Effort to Stem Its Rise CONFERENCE AT GENEVA (Rec. August 15, 8.15 p.m.) Geneva, August 15. An international Jewish conference will meet to-day to initiate an effort to stem the-tide of anti-semitlsm, particularly Hitlerism and Soviet Russia. Delegates have assembled from all parts of the world. \ The conference has been convened by the American Jewish Congress, representing 4,500,000 Jews in America, under the leadership of Rabbi Dr. Stephen Wise.
