BUTTER-FAT RATES
Higher Payments Made MANAWATU FACTORIES By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, August 15. Advance rates for July supplies of butterfat have been fixed at Hd by five butter factories in the Manawatu. This is stated to be the highest figure fixed for payment since September last, almost a year ago. The decision of the five principal companies operating in the Manawatu to make such advances is accepted as pointing to considerably improved conditions in the dairy Industry.
