PICKPOCKET’S TEETH “PICKED.” Paul Preacher, aged 57, who is in gaol because the police say that he is one of the best pickpockets in Chicago, complained to the lockup keeper that his teeth had been picked, and not by himself. “Somebody,” he said, “picked my false teeth riglit out of rnv mouth A hunt through the gaol revealed that the teeth thief had discarded his loot in a refuse box. “I thought I was pretty •rood,” said Preacher, when his plate bad been restored, "but there is somebody in this gaol who is years ahead of me.’’
