SEVERE FIGHTING
Chinese Attack on Town REPULSE & HEAVY LOSS (Rec. July 28, 7 p.m.). Tokyo, July 28. It was reported on Wednesday that 700 Chinese, composing a volunteer corps, attacked Suichung, a town between Chinchow and Sangbaikwan, and were repulsed, leaving over 200 dead after severe fighting. The Japanese garrison had six killed.
