General Convention To-night
All those who depeud for their livelihood'on the building and allied trades are-invited to a general convention’in. the Farmers' Institute ’ Hall to-night, which, will be-opened by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop. The object of the meeting is to explain the work of the allied building industries movement and itsrecent survey of costs, its proposals to encourage building while prices are so advantageous, and the working of the building trade subsidy scheme recently announced by. the:,Government.'
