HEALTH CAMP
Appeal in Streets To-day
Attention is drawn to the street day which is to be held to-day in aid of the children’s health camp. Excellent work is being done at the health camp at Otaki in caring for children whose condition has deteriorated through, malnutrition and other effects of .the present difficult times, but money, is . urgently required if the activities of .the camp are to continue unimpeded. It is hoped, therefore,, that the public will respbn'd generously to the appeal, Mr. T. E, Corkill is treasurer, and* associated with him is Mr. H. Miller, public accountant. , i
. The annual meeting of. the- Wellington ,Children’s Health Camp Association will be held bn Wednesday next in the Educational Institute rooms. The Mayor. Mr. T. C. A. Hislop," will preside, and the. Minister of Health (the Hon. J. A. Young) will address the meeting.
