AUDITORS TRAPPED
Kreuger’s Safe Door Shuts
London, July 27.
A Stockholm message states that two English auditors investigating the late Ivar Kreuger’s affairs entered the great safe at Kreuger’s headquarters to replace documents, when the closing apparatus accidentally operated, i Locksmiths worked frantically and fruitlessly for two hours, when a duplicate key was found. The auditors were released unharmed, thanks to a small air valve in the machinery.
