IMPROVED CONDITIONS IN BUSINESS
A few days ago a prominent Wellington firm of builders’ suppliers took delivery through the Customs of the largest order it has placed in the last twelve months. “So far this year each month has been better for business than its predecessor a city oil and colour merchant stated yesterday. In his opinion the campaign to encourage building and renovation is having a marked effect. A New Zealand cement company also reports an increase in the number of orders received as a result of the reawakened demand for building materials.,
