Britain’s Million War Dead UNVEILED BY PRINCE Official Wireless. Rugby, June 24. The Prince of Wales to-day unveiled in Westminster Abbey a new chapel to the memory of “The Million Dead.” The shrine, which is close to the Unknown Warrior’s Grave, is to be called the Warriors’ Chapel. An anonymous donor who died some mouths ago contributed half the cost of the. chapel, and the balance was collected in pennies from the mothers of the British Empire who had lost sons in the war. Members of the Mothers’ Union of all parts of the world were represented in the congregation, mainly of women.
