THE WAGES TAX. “A 10 per cent cut, another one coming, and a bob in the pound wages tax! Has anyone a good recipe for ‘dock’ tobacco?” asks one of the boys in the “By-the-Way” column of the Christchurch “Star.” We are sorry we cannot give the writer his recipe, but we can sympathise with him for being forced to join the Tanks of the “I’ll-just-have-to-do-without-tobacco” smokers. But why don’t men try this new Luxury tobacco? No need to let the depression spoil the quality of your smoking when you can get Luxury for one and sevenpence a 2oz. packet. Luxury is not a poor quality blend, but one that will compare with the best on the market. It is one of the best sellers in N.Z. now—just because it is a tobacco men like from the first pipeful—selling at a price any man can afford.—Advt.
