BENGAL TERRORISTS
New Phase of Campaign POSTBAG-SNATCHING Calcutta. April 12. Two youths, believed to be associated with a terrorist gang, held up, shot, and seriously wounded a postman and snatched his bag iu the main street of Calcutta. Postbag-snatching is a new phase of the revolutionary campaign. The object is to secure funds. Seventy armed and mounted men raided a village in the Chittagong district of Bengal, ransacked the house of a rich Hindu jeweller, and money-lend-er, and seized cash and valuables of a total value of oyer £2OOO.
