FOUND IN LONDON
Part of Lindbergh Ransom SMUGGLED DOLLAR NOTES » (Rec. April 13, 7.45 p.m.). London, April 13. The “Daily Mail” says that some dollar notes Colonel C. Lindbergh paid to the kidnappers of his 19-inonths-old son have been found in London. Scotland Yard is working feverishly to discover how the notes were smuggled into England and several persons handling the notes have been asked to explain how they came into their possession. Colonel Lindbergh revealed last Saturday that a cruel hoax had been perpetrated on him by the kidnappers of his son. I A ransom of 50,000 dollars was paid to them after proper identification upon an agreement to notify him of the exact whereabouts of the baby, but the child was not found at the designated point.
