GULF SEASON OPENED
Titahi Ladies’ Club The Titahi Ladies’ Golf Club opened the season on Saturday under ideal conditions. 'There was a large gathering of golfers, the following clubs being represented: —Heretaunga, Miramar, Manor Park, Shandon, Waiwetu, and Paekakarikt A Canadian foursome was played, the winners being Mrs. Munro and Miss Ormiston, with a card of 1 down. The visitors were received by Mrs Alex Moore, club captain, and Mrs. Davis, secretary. After the competition they were entertained in the clubhouse, which was decorated with quantities of coreopsis and / tillardia, and a delicious afternoon tea was served.
