SHIPS ABANDONED
Many ofjCrew Missing London, April 11. The French schooner Rouzie lias been abandoned in the Bay of Biscay. The crew of twenty-nine put off in eight boats. Three have since been found empty. Eleven of the crew were rescued, ,of whom four were in a boat picked up by the steamer Deerpool and landed at Cardiff in a state of collapse after being for forty-eight hours tossed like a cork. The Rouzie’s captain was tlie last to leave tlie ship and I insisted in going in the smallest boat.
