Goldminers at Waihi APPLICATION REJECTED By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 12. Tlie Arbitration Court: has given judgment, rejecting the application by the Waihi gold mining unions for the restoration of the 10 per cent, cut in wages. Tlie workers urged that owing to the high price of gold from which the company was benefiting, they should have their wages restored. Tlie majority of tlie court decided that the workers are receiving wages that are fixed in relation to the work performed, and that there is no adequate reason for placing them on a scale relatively higher than that of other workers,
