‘WASTE PAPER PRICES’
Slump in Kreuger Shares
(Rcc. April, 10, 5.5 p.m.)
London, April 9.
The "Dally Mall” says that Kreuger Company shares have sunk almost to waste paper prices. The total depreciation exceeds £200,000,000. ,
No estimate is even hazarded as to the liabilities involved in the Kreuger and Toll affair, but enough is known to convince London and other financial centres that a serious position mayhave to be faped. A meeting convened by the leading financial houses of the city and attended by representatives of the Stock Exchange and insurance and trust companies has formed a provisional committee to keep in touch with the situation. r -
