STEAMER’S OVERHAUL
Maori Nearly Ready
WAHINE TO LAY UP
The Lyttelton ferry steamer Maori, which was docked last Wednesday morning for the completion of her overhaul and survey, is to come out of dock about midday to-morrow. She will take up the Wahine’s running in the Wellington-Lyttelton ferry service as from next Thursday, leaving here on that night for Lyttelton. The Wahine, on her arrival at Wellington on Thursday morning, is to withdraw from the service and will be laid up at Wellington until next October. She will then undergo extensive overhaul and survey and will take the Tt.'ingatira’s running in the service while that vessel undergoes overhaul nnd survey. The Wahine will then resume her present running, while the Maori will withdraw and again lay up.
