As au encouragement to relief workers to devote attention to vegetable gardening, a member of the Wellington South Horticultural Society has promised prizes for each of the best four exhibits by relief workers at the society’s autumn show at the eml of April. A condition is that the produce exhibited by relief workers must be from the Wellington South district.
