Sydney Stock Market BRIGHTER TONE Government Stocks Again (Rec. December 14, 7.35 p.m.) Sydney, December 14. The Stock Exchange to-day was unusually brisk. Federal Government stocks were much in demand, four per cents. 1038, touching £96/6/3, a rise of 8/9. Other longer-dated four per cents rose similarly The market for leading industrial and 'trading issues was also strong, but banks eased slightly.
