Lady Sim arrived in Wellington from England on Sunday by. the Rotorua. Mrs. Harbottle, Wellington, Is the guest of Mrs. Donald, Masterton. Miss B. Humphreys, Lower Hutt, has returned from a visit to America. Miss Gunn, Wellington, left last night for Christchurch. Mrs. C. Mlles and family, Wellington, will spend Christmas at Nelson. Miss E. A. M. Harcourt will arrive in New Zealand next week by the Bangitane from England. Miss' Norah Gray, Kelburn, will leave to-day by the Monowai for Sydney. ' , Mr. and Mrs. A. A. M. Taylor, Wellington, will leave for Australia by the Monowai to-day. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Webb arrived in Wellington by the Rotorua on Sunday after a visit to England. Mrs. Glubb, England, has returned from Rotorua, and will spend Christmas with Mrs. Dillon, Blenheim. Mrs. Fred Ward and her daughter, Helen, will spend Christmas with Mrs. Macallster at the Sounds.

The Hon. Mrs. Gathorie-Hardy, England, will leave Wellington at the end of the month on her return to the Old Country. Mrs. Eudo Hart, of South Wairarapa, is progressing favourably after her recent operation in a private hospital in Masterton. Mrs. R. C. Addison, of Upland Road, Kelburn, has returned to Wellington after a visit,to Nelson and the West Coast. . Miss A. Shelton, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Railton, Invercargill, who are on a three months’ tour of the Dominion, are at present the guests of Mrs. W. H. Money, Hansen Street, Wellington. .
