Substantial Fortune Left (Rec. September 3, 11 p.m.) London, September 2. Sir Hall Caine’s fortune is estimated at £250,000. According to the “News Chronicle,” his will occupies 40 fools cap pages and is mostly in favour of his family. For years he has been receiving between £5OO and £6OO a week from his writings, and the world sales of bls novels exceeded 10,000,000.
