GRAND OPERA HOUSE
Coming to the Grand Opera House to-day will be a double-featured bill. The first attraction will be “The Sin Ship,” with Louis Wolheim, Mary Astor, and lan Keith. "Laugh and Get Rich,” the other attraction, will be the second feature. Mary Astor and lan Keith participate ill the novel and dramatic plot of “The Sin Ship,” as do other favourites of the talkies.. They pose as a missionary and his wife, and get passage to the South Seas in a little trading schooner. The captain falls in love with the “minister’s” wife, protects her from his hardbitten crew, and then discovers she has tricked him. Three of lhe screen's outstanding comedy favourites are featured in “Laugh and Get Rich.” Radio Pictures’ breezy film hit, which is the second feature on the bill. They are Edna Moy Oliver.- legitimate stage star, who scored sensationally in “Cimarron.” Hugh Herbert, one of the fastest-coming character actors, and Dorothy Lee. diminutive favourite of film audiences. The trio romps through a decidedly bright and merry story in “Laugh and Get Rich,” hailed as one of the most amusing entertainments of the season.
