Rain Showers and Sunshine
The weather was showery in ■Wellington for the greater nart of yesterday. In the middle of the afternoon, however, the skies cleared, and it was fine for the remainder of the day. It was unsettled at Auckland, and a heavy hail shower fell during the afternoon. The day was cold and overcast at Christchurch with a light air from the south-west.
