SILVER WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. H. Martindale The Adelphi Cabaret was the, scene of a most enjoyable party on Wednesday evening, wien Mr. and Mrs. H. Martindale, of Lyall Bay, entertained their friends, the occasion being their silver wedding. Over 100 guests were present, and during supper short speeches of congratulation were made by Messrs. T. Coltman and J. J. Quinn, Mr. Martindale suitably responding. The floral decorations were very effective. Balloons, streamers, hats, etc., were dispensed during the dancing, and the gathering came to a close with the singing of "For They are Jolly Good Fellows,” and cheers for Mr. and Mrs. Martindale and family.
