FOUR MEN CHARGED
Sensational Affair ATTEMPTED BURGLARY Wiri Post Office By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 31. As a sequel to the sensational attempted burglary at the Wiri Post Office early cn Saturday morning, four men appeared in the Police Court this morning. The men were: George Edward Allen. 33. labourer; Thomas Edward. 38, motor driver; Lloyd Richard Faithfull, 32, labourer; and Edward Donovan. 34, electrician. They were charged with breaking and entering the shop of Robert William Wilson at Wiri with intent to commit a crime. They were remanded for a week.
