A decision to disband was m..do nt a meeting of the Canterbury Cricket Umpires’ Association on Saturday. The members decided that the attitude adopted by the Canterbury Cricket Association not to dissociate itself from the remarks of one of their members who condemned members of tlie Canterbury Umpires’ Association as incompetent left them no alternative.
