Morning Showers; Cold Wind It rained heavily in Wellington yesterday morning, but toward noon it eased. Although the skies during the afternoon remained threatening, little further rain fell. The wind was light, but cold. The weather was unsettled and changeable nt Auckland, the wind being light and variable and the sky dull and threatening. . Light rain fell all day at Christchurch and a cold breeze blew from the southwest. The temperature was 44 degrees. There was a continuation of unsettled weather at Dunedin, frequent light showers falling. The wind was light from the south-west.
