POLICEMAN ATTACKED
Knocked Unconscious TRYING TO MAKE ARREST By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, August 31. When arresting a man on a charge of using obscene language on Saturday evening, Constable Thompson was attacked by a second man from behind and stunned by a blow on the head. The incident took place near the railway station. While the constable was unconscious the men escaped. /
