NEW ZEALAND BILLS
Placed on English Market TERMS ARE “EXCELLENT” (Rec.- August 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 29. New Zealand has placed £650,000 worth of three-month Treasury bills, the bulk at an average of 4 7-32 (£4/4/4J) per cent. The money market considers that New Zealand got excellent terms as the price at which English Treasury bills were allotted yesterday was £4/3/1} per cent. Last evening “The Dominion” was informed that the transaction was a normal one for this time of the year, the object being to secure temporary accommodation in anticipation of revenue.
