Mr. A. Milligan
Mr. Alexander Milligan, a well-known veterinary surgeon, died at Day’s Bay on Friday. Mr. Milligan, who was ,69 years of age, was predeceased by his wife by three days. Born in Enniskillen, Ireland, in 1862, the late Mr. Milligan came to Now Zealand with his parents 53 years ago, and was a resident of Wellington during the whole of that time. For the past 40 years he had been in practice as a veterinary surgeon and was well-known as the honorary veterinary surgeon to the Wellington Trotting Chib, an office which he occupied for many years. He was a keen Freemason, also a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge. The late Mr Milligan is survived by three daughters— Mesdamcs C. J. Hurley and E. B. Taylor. Wellington, anti Mrs. J. W. Murray.
