CROSS-COUNTRY RUN
Dominion Championships TEAMS AT AUCKLAND With the arrival of the last competing provincial teams at Auckland yesterday, arrangements are complete for the New Zealand cross-country championships which are being held over one lap of a 10,000 metre course nt Ellerslie today. ■The Otago runners arrived in Wellington on Thursday, and were conducted bv Mr. L. A. Bond, the manager of the Wellington team, to the House of Parliament, where they were received and entertained to morning tea bj' the Hon. W. B Taverner, Minister of Pub!’© Works, and Mrs. Taverner. The partv was afterwards shown the buildings and library. In tile afternoon the Otago men had a training run at Athletic Park, and in company with the Wellington team, left for Audkand by the Limited express that evening. The Wanganui-Taranaki representatives left by motor-car on Thursday, and arrived late that evening.
