PLIMMERTON CROQUET CLUB
There was a large attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Plimmerton Croquet Club. ' A vote of sympathy and condolence was passed to Mrs. Amon and family in the loss they had sustained by the death of Mr. Amon. The ’ report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, and the officers were congratulated upon their work and interest in the club during the past season. The following officers were elected President, Mrs. G. Neale; vice-president, Mrs. A. Tovey; hon. secretary and club captain, Mrs. F. Garner (re-elected); committee, Mesdames Walker, Edginton, Misses Amoore, Gardner: delegates to the Wellington Croquet Association, Meedames Garner and Neale! , \ The greeds are looking very weH, and should give every satisfaction during the coming season, which- promises to be a most successful one. A series of ; card parties have been held during the winter months, with the object of augmenting the club funds, aud have been very successful. The final one was held last evening, and was very well attended and much enjoyed by all.
