WEDDING
Tibbetts—Shield A quiet wedding was solemnised at St Matthew’s Church, Inglewood, last Monday when Helen, youngest daughter of the late Mr. J. Shield and Mrs. J. Shield, of Whenuakura, was married to Reginald Tibbetts, of Pio Pio. The Rev. J. Thompson officiated.. The bride, who was given in marriage by her elder brother, Mr. John Shield, wore a brown tweed costume with hat and shoes to tone, and carried a bouquet of gold and tawny chrysanthemums, Miss Maud Shield attended her sister as bridesmaid, and Mr. M. Kerri sk, of Pio Pio, acted as best man. The wedding breakfast, at which a number of relatives were present, was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Shield, prior to Mr. and Mrs. Tibbets leaving for their future home in Pio Pio.
