Pinto-Demet ral Bout The booking for the big wrestling match between Stanley Pinto and Harry Demetral to take place at the Town Hall this evening is very heavy. Pinto, who is regarded as one of the most spectacular wrestlers in the world, has beaten Jim Londos, Pat McGill, and many other famous wrestlers. He has also drawn with Joe Steelier, who was twice the heavyweight champion of the world. Pinto, who beat Australian Jack Higgins in less than 20 minutes at Auckland, a few hours after he arrived’ from America, was refused a permit to wrestle by the police following that match on the grounds that he was too rough a wrestler. After protests had been made, however. he ■ subsequently was given a permit to wrestle Scotty McDougall nt Dunedin. Pinto, who will be. making his first; appearance in Wellington tonight, weighs 14st, 51b. and is in the pink of condition.

Demetral, since wrestling Pasha at Wellington, beat Lirautkin at Stratford on Wednesday night. Demetral walked and ran for 17 miles yesterday, after which he put in two hours on the mnt wrestling at intervals-with seven partners. Those who wish to see the bout would be well advised to book their seats at the Ritz tobacconist ship in Manners Street without delay. The early doors of the Town Hall will open at 7 p.m., and a limited number of tickets will be on sale at the boxes outside the hall.
