WEDDING

Wilson—Dover The marriage took place at Cambridge Street Methodist Church, Wanganui, on Wednesday, of Annie, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Dover, and Norman Alexander, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A.' Wilson, Northcote, Auckland. The church had been attractively i'decorated in autumn tints by friends of the bride, and the service was fully choral. The Bev. H. Spencer performed the ceremony. The bride', who was given away by her father, wore an ivory frock of crepe-de-chine. The skirt was ankle-length, and petalled, with Jaee, and a little lace bolero made a dainty finish. She wore . the usual veil caught with orange blossom, and silver shoes, and carried a shower bouquet of pink and white blossoms. Two maids were in attendance, Misses Flora Wilson and Mabel Stevens. Miss Wilson wore aprieot and Miss Stevens green georgette. Both frocks were made alike, with flared loose petalled skirts, with cape collars and long sleeves, and finished with I diainente trimmings. They wore felt hats to tone, and carried bouquets to match with their frocks. Messrs. Harold Dover, brother of the bride, and ■ Wilfred Hartnell were the groomsmen. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Masonic Hall, Gonville, where Mrs. Dover received her guests wearing a fawn frock and black satin coat, fawn but, and carrying a bouquet of violets. Mrs. Wilson, mother of the bridegroom, wore navy marocain, with hat to tone, and also carried violets. When Mr. and Mrs. Wilson left, the latter wore a brown tailored costume, hat and shoes to tone, and nigger brown overcoat.
