BOULCOTT SCHOOL
Raised a Grade
Boulcott School, Lower Hutt, has gone up a grade and has now been granted an additional teacher, making a staff of five.
The new appointment is that of Miss Monkhouse, who is at present stationed at the Trentham School. Until she takes up her duties in about a month’s time Miss D. Pillan will act as relieving teacher.
Considerable improvements have been carried out by the Wellington Education Board, notably the concreting of an area all the way round the school. This will prove a great boon to the children during the winter months.
