Although by reason of the very inclement weather on Tuesday afternoon, there was not a large attendance at the “500” .afternoon given in the Scouts’ Hall by the Lower Hutt Women’s Miniature Rifle Club, those who were present spent an enjoyable afternoon. Mrs. Cavaye won the prize. Afternoon tea was served by the committee.
