Nominations for Committee
For some time the Hutt Central School has .been without a committeo and the control has been exercised through commissioners appointed by the .Wellington Education Board. At last annual householders’ meeting insufficient nominations for the vacancies were received. • It was resolved, therefore, to secure further nominations and to call another meeting of householders for May 25. The commissioners, Mr. J. Stonehouse, stated yesterday that 18 nominations had been received for nine vacancies, and that the election would take place on Monday evening at 7.30 o'clock.
The nominations are Mr. J. H. Burton, Mrs. Fermlston, Mrs. Parsonage, Mrs. Whitehead. Messrs. T. A. Baxter, Bellchamber, E. Biggs. J. Belcher, J. A. Burton. L. Hayton, F. G. Halley, J. King, C. E. Lamont, C. A. Miller. S; J. Off ord, W. J. Penhall, KJtontley, F. C. Walton.
