Plans for Graf Zeppelin
FLIGHT TO NORTH POLE
Berlin, May 6.
Dr. Eckener announces that with the object of deciding whether the airship is suitable for transportation for Arctie exploration, the Graf Zeppelin is going to the North Pole In July, coinciding with Sir Hubert Wilkins’s attempt by submarine. The Graf will carry complete Polar equipment for 45 persons, including eight scientists and explorers, also German, English, American, and Russian aviation experts.
