Governor-General’s Visit
BRIEF AUCKLAND STAY Dominion Special Service. Auckland, May 7. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, who are spending two or three days in trout fishing in the Taupo district, arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon. On Monday their Excellencies will leave for a four days’ tour of the north of Auckland, paying official visits to Whangarei, Hikurangl and Dargaville, and returning on Friday, May 15, to Government House. Auckland, where they will remain in residence until shortly before the opening of Parliament.
