Miss Margaret .Johnston is spending the school holidays in Christchurch. Mrs. Wilson -.and Miss Wilson, Lyttelton. arc at presen't in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Griffiths. Invercargill, are at present in Wellington. Mrs. Kellar and Miss Kellar, Hokitika, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Miss Phyllis Francis. Rossall Street. Christchurch, is spending a holiday with Mrs. W. E. Herbert. 'Wellington. Miss N. Gordon and Miss Claire Heine are spending the school holidays in Wanganui.

Miss Elsie Oddie, of the Wellington Girls’ College, will spend the holidays in Auckland.

Miss Kitty Wood, of Napier, is visiting AA s ellington, and is staying with Airs. C. Smith, Oriental Bay.

Miss Lucy Benham, of the Wellington Girls’ College staff, is spending the holidays in Christchurch.

Lady Lc Fleming was a passenger by the Tauranga. which left Wellington on Wednesday for Southampton.

Miss .Mary Thomson, Hobson Street, has left for a motoring tour to Auckland and Rotorua.

Miss Alice Candy. Canterbury College, is nt present in Wellington, and she will deliver an address to the Wellington Historical Society.

Mrs. AV. G. Russell has returned to Napier froin Wellington after spending some months with her sister, Mrs. Pytt Jackson.

A meeting of the executive of Mrs. G. A. Troup’s presentation committee was held yesterday, Airs. J. Pow presiding. Everything was reported to be well under way for the function which is to take place next Monday afternoon at Kirkcaldie’s tearooms. Ladies wishing to participate are asked to apply to Airs. Pow or to Airs. AV. Austin.
