NORDEN HOCKEY CUP Challenge Matches Arranged By Telegraph—Press- Association. Christchurch, May 6. In reply to an inquiry from the Hawke’s Bay. Association regarding challenges for the Norden Cup, the New Zealand Hockey Council has decided to advise all associations that associations possessing two or more sub-associations can challenge for the Norden Cup on behalf of any ope of its sub-associations. The following associations have forwarded challenges for the Norden Cup, which is at present held by Manawatu: —Wanganui, Dannevirke, Taranaki, Wairarapa, and Bedding. Matches for the cup have been arranged in the following order: —Holders v. Bedding; winners v. Dannevirke ; winners v. Wanganui; winners v. Taranaki; and winners v. Wairarapa. The date of the first match is to be arranged between Manawatu and Feilding.
