.Shandon Mid-Week Club.—The medal round played by the Shandon Ladies’ MidWeek Club yesterday resulted in a win for Mrs. Grant Forgie, who - returned a card showing 74 net. Mrs. Vance came next with 75 net, and Mrs. Fleming third with 77 net. A Canadian foursome, in aid of the effort toward the relief of golf clubs affected by the Hawke's Bay earthquake, will be played on Wednesday next. Shandon Club.—A foursome competition, ladies and men, will be played on the Shandon links next Saturday. There will be a. modal round for ladder handicapping over the week-end, when every member is expected to put in a card.
