MIST AND LIGHT RAIN
Yesterday’s Weather Misty conditions accompanied by light rain set in during Wednesday night and continued throughout yesterday and last night. There was no wind. Frequent ’and heavy showers fell at Auckland. The wind was light from the north-west. The barometer fell from 30.20 in. to 29.85 in.. but had steadied a little last evening. The weather nt Chrsitchurch was fine, but tiicre wns a fair amount of cloud. The wind- was light from the south-west, and the maximum temperature was 54 degrees. The barometer, after falling all day. commenced to rise, the reading last evening being 30.00 in. The weather was fine nt Dunedin, but »rain set in after mid-day and continued for an hour, when conditions improyed. The wind was fresh from the southwest. The barometer fell during the day, but later showed a rising tendency and registered 29.95 in.
