British Greenland Party REQUEST FOR RESCUE (Rec. April 27, 5.5 p.m.) Ottawa, April 26. There is fear that disaster has overtaken a British party sent to Greenland to survey the northern route to Canada for Empire air service. General J. H. Macbriden, head of the Canadian Aviation Department, has received a London cable from the sponsors of the expedition requesting that a search party be sent at once. Canada is unable to comply, lacking proper planes. _____
