HOSPITAL BURDEN
Cost in the Four Cities For the four years 1927-30 (inclusive), the levy made upon the rates by the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board has been heavier in Wellington than any of the other metropolitan centres In New Zealand. The rate per head for hospital and charitable aid purposes in the different cities over this period has been as follows: —
